Gabrielle Pullen

Sierra Writers monthly meeting will feature Gabrielle Pullen. Gabrielle will present an evening exploration of how to write about the moments of clarity so evocative that you were changed from that moment forward. This is the turning point of any novel or memoir: a dramatic change in perception or behavior that creates new possibilities.

Gabrielle Pullen is the editor of The Write to Heal Abuse Anthology, launching on Amazon on June 3, 2014. Gabrielle has been studying how the stories we tell ourselves affect our ability to be happy. Her work focuses on how creativity can be a catalyst that transforms pain into art via the written word. She has been journaling in recovery since 1982 and writing professionally for magazines and marketing wellness since 1995. She has been facilitating Write to Heal Women’s Circles under the auspices of Gather the Women since 2013 Gabrielle is currently working on her Masters degree through Cedar Crest College Pan-European MFA Program in Fiction.
