Betsy Graziani Fasbinder is a Nevada County newcomer, attracted to this arts-rich community and the sumptuous Sierra Foothills to entertain her writing muse.

Betsy has been a long time member of The Fourth Street Writers, a tribe of rebel women authors who support each other’s writing lives and perform their works at many Bay Area venues. Betsy is currently most focused on her work as a novelist. Initial chapters of her first novel, Viewfinder, were honored with the Floyd Salas Award for Fiction at the Reno Writers’ Conference. Her second novel, I Loved You More, was among the Jack London Award winners of 2005. She is currently seeking representation for these works.

Short stories, non-fiction articles and novel excerpts of Betsy’s have been published in The Journal of Behavioral Health, Connections Magazine, Charabanc, and the online Women’s Writing Salon. Betsy’s work is part of The Fourth Street Writers’ collection in Nearly Naked and will be included in their upcoming publication of Irresistible, due out in late summer 2006.
